Jim Carey
Jim comes to us from Hollywood, CA, where he was employed as an actor/comedian. He came to Interspace because he didn't want to be type cast and wanted greater financial opportunities.
Prior to all that Jim spent six years as an operations manager in the restaurant business (actually he was working in a pizza place since he was 12). However, Jim felt the need to settle down and have a sane professional life. That didn't work out and he found Interspace.
Jim came to Interspace in 1993 to become part of the sales team. Through time Jim progressed with Interspace through many specialized management positions. He was one of the founding members of the very first Interspace team, the "Green Team," which was responsible for the start of all new airport programs. Jim has also worked with current Interspace airport partners developing program design and enhancing revenue and extending airport partnership agreements.
Jim moved on to be part of the "Steel Force" team working on business development, helping convert the Non-Interspace Airports see the light (heal them!) and show them the way to real revenue. Currently, Jim his hopping all around the Caribbean developing oversees partnerships and getting a fantastic tan!
When Jim isn't at 35,000 feet, or hanging out in airports (both of which he loves) Jim resides in Allentown, PA, with his wife Jolene and their three boys.

CHERYL ANDERS
Cheryl was a special delivery to us straight from UPS. Actually, that is where she was employed before coming to Interspace in 1989! Today, she has delivered over $50 million in advertising sales for Interspace through both local and national accounts. She has consistently been IAA’s top performing sales rep.
We think she's been successful because she likes to travel (she really gets around: prior to Interspace, she had been to five of the states, now she has been to all but six of them!).
Currently Cheryl is on a special project obtaining, starting, and running our New Zealand & Australia operations. She is assisting in forming the partnerships then managing the office and sales staff.
When asked her secret to fabulous achievement, she says, "2x + 3y = I don't know, but I do know effort in = results out!"

Jim Miller
After spending 18 years restoring old homes and building new ones, Jim was approached with the opportunity of working properties and projects for Interspace. Jim saw it as a very exciting opportunity to go to work for a small family owned company that was rapidly growing.
“I figured I had nothing to lose by seizing this opportunity. If it didn't work out, I could always go back to my trade that included smashing my fingers with a hammer, working outside in the winter and trimming my fingernails with the miter box.” So, Jim agreed to start working for us even though he didn't know if sitting at a desk and being on the phone most of the day would be too boring for him. Well, that was 1995 and he hasn’t had time to get bored.!
“Even though my hammer is a little rusty and my nail bag doesn't fit anymore, these trades have been very helpful in working airport projects. Jim has excelled in the Properties and Projects role to the point where he became Interspace’s lead trainer as new hires came on board. Jim showed such great dedication, organization and coaching skills, that Jim was tapped to manage one of our Operations Teams. Managing the sales and operations end of the business, Jim has continued to be a true asset to Interspace. “If you’d of told me 10 years ago I’d be managing a sales team, I’d of said you were nuts.” But the fact remains Jim has grown and has met the challenge with continued success.
When Jim’s not in the office or at an airport, he can be found me with his wife, Becky and children Daniel and Jennifer fishing, boating on Martha's Vineyard or coaching a local football team.

BETSY HILLENBRAND
A Shipping and Receiving Clerk to a Corporate Travel Coordinator is an interesting leap in just 5 years, but that’s the story of Betsy Hillenbrand. After 15 years as a Clerk at Hess’s Distribution Center, and an additional 5 years as a Point of Sale Administrator for Builders Square, Betsy made the leap to a smaller, non-chain type of environment. She started at Interspace in 2000 and like many has experienced an amazing wild ride.
Betsy was originally hired as Team Administrator, keeping sales people informed and information coordinated between the Operations and Sales teams. Betsy’s hard-working ethic and attitude, quickly had her at home here. “I love the overall casual and fun atmosphere at IAA. I love that you can almost feel the energy and excitement. It sounds corny but it’s almost like being with family.”
She became so proficient at her job, that when we needed an Administrator to take on the challenge of handling our National Accounts, Betsy was selected and stepped up to the plate. Her continued success has led Betsy to also be tapped to assist in CAD Drafting. She is now serving IAA as the Corporate Travel Coordinator. Her organization skills and attention to detail made her perfect to administrate this essential function – you can imagine how difficult it is keeping track of 100+ road warriors working in the airport industry!
On the topic of Interspace, Betsy says “IAA has given me opportunities to grow that I never would gotten in any of my previous jobs. I’ve learned more in my 5 years here than I could
have imagined. I’ve also worked harder than I could have imagined!”

MARY ANN MOHR
Mary Ann came from an eclectic background of careers. Here most recent before coming to IAA in 1997 was working for The Morning Call, the newspaper serving the Lehigh Valley. It was there where she first got involved in the advertising world.
Mary Ann is one of our illustrious graphic coordinators. As a member of the Orange team, all graphics going into the 40 airports she handles come to her first. From there she advises the clients if any changes should be made and then coordinates with Airport staff to approve the layouts and coordinate their installation.
On her career at Interspace, Mare says “I love the atmosphere. It is fun and relaxed, but still hard work. I like money and the fact that if you’re responsible, you are essentially your own boss. You don’t have someone breathing down your neck and micro-managing you.”
